Step Four: Fabulously Femme Sleep Shorts

Your first three steps that you have successfully completed all relate to tasks that you need to do while you are awake. Now it is time to look at the other 30% of your day. That’s it, sweetie. We are now going to make that first step to making your sleep time femme as well.

How do you make your night time as femme as possible? The key starting point to nighttime femme conditioning is to replace your existing sleep shorts with a pair of fabulously silky Tap Pants or French Shorts.

If you have been like most boys in the past you have likely slept in a pair of boxers. That will simply not do for your femme aspirations. As you may have guessed step four involves going shopping again. As before, I will be referring you across to a short list of options that I have sourced via Amazon for you.

Luckily both options for your sleep shorts will be at least as comfortable as your ugly old boxers. Though I believe you will feel even more comfortable, knowing that you will be femme even while you are sleeping.

Your new sleep shorts will fall into one of two categories and we will look at each of those in more detail. Your first option is Tap Pants and the second is French Shorts. Tap Pants are my first choice mostly because they are easier to find, even in department stores. But be sure to study all of the options and choose the pair that best matches your femme personality.

In either case, you want your new femme sleep shorts to be in a girly color and even better if you can get some soft silky satin to sleep in.

Let’s take a closer look at your two permitted styles of girly sleep shorts.

Tap Pants

Tap Pants get their name from how they were originally used. The tap dancers of the 1930s and 1940s needed something to wear when they practiced their routines. They needed something that was comfortable, allowed freedom of movement and yet gave good coverage. Tap Pants met all of those criteria.

The style and design of Tap Pants make them flattering for just about all varieties of figure types. If you can get Tap Pants made from a luxurious fabric like silk, they will feel even more feminine and romantic.

Tap Pants go up to your natural waist and are long and flowy at the same time. This is great if you want to hide a little bit of tummy, thighs or butt that are not yet as femme as you would like them to be.

If you ever get the chance to wear a vintage pencil skirt, your Tap Pants will be the perfect style of panties to wear. Modern panties will give you a horizontal panty line five inches below the waistband of your vintage pencil skirt and your high-waisted Tap Pants will solve that dilemma for you.

French Shorts

French Shorts, otherwise known as French Knickers in the United Kingdom and Europe date back to 1918 as the first panties ever invented. Most varieties of French Shorts tend to fit more snugly than flowy Tap Pants. I have even seen panties labeled as French Shorts that fit me exactly the same as Boy Shorts.

In the USA, many lingerie stores label their French Shorts as Tap Pants as the latter name is more widely known.

As your choice of sleep shorts, if you do decide to get yourself some French Shorts, choose the loose, flowy varieties. If you can, make sure that the fabric is silk or satin for a dreamy, femme sleep experience. Girls, remember to always choose the most feminine color and design that you can get your hands on.

Once you have your Tap Pants or French Shorts, your task to complete Step Four is to sleep in your new femme sleep shorts for six consecutive nights.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.

I’ll have to look into the french shorts. Out of your recommendations I love the foxers the best (https://amzn.to/2HGCHIJ) and will definitely have to get some!!

I got these from Shein and they are suuuuper cute: https://us.shein.com/Heart-Print-Button-Up-Satin-Top-With-Shorts-p-1066930-cat-2343.html

  2. I always sleep in a nightie but I love the femininity of the sleep shorts. Can’t wait to buy some.

  3. Now I have the sleep shorts and I love them. Cant wait to buy some more in various colours. I feel so femme wearing them. Thank you for suggesting them

  4. Hi Edith. I bought 2 pairs of the French shorts because I just love the way they look and feel. I bought a pink pair and a lavender pair shorts and top combo and just love them so much. Thanks so much for your guidance.

  5. This is a lot of fun. I’m discovering that I’m not feeling like a woman in a man’s body. I’m feeling jealous of the opportunities that women get. Not overall ; I understand mysogeny and systematic discrimination.

I’m enjoying playing as a woman. In this step the tap shorts are light and soft. They are pleasant to wear and I can’t imagine going back to men’s underwear or pajamas for sleeping. Likewise panties that fit right (it took a couple purchases) are delightful.
