Step 23: Paint Your Toenails To Make Them Pretty

Welcome to step 23 of your 40-step journey to becoming a better you. This week is all about adding a new layer to the TLC you have been giving your feet and toes since you finished step 10, three months ago.

We will soon begin the process of learning to walk in heels. To enhance that experience it is important that you have your feet looking and more importantly feeling as feminine as they can possibly be.

What better way to get your feet looking feminine than by painting your toenails.

Essential Reading For Step 23

As always I have put together a list of essential reading for step 23 so that you can get the most out of this week:

Your Task For The Week In Detail

Your week will be book-ended with a full pedicure. In other words, on day one and day 7 of your week, you are required to do a full foot treatment pedicure.

I suggest that you make this a full immersion feminine experience. What I mean by that is to use this time to shave and moisturize your legs and wash your hair. Then, while you have your hair wrapped in your towel-turban that you learned in step 16, do your pedicure and paint your toes. That is exactly how I do it.

It is totally ok to do your pedicure without these additional steps. However, you will get so much more from the experience if you make this your full immersion girly time.

On each of the remaining days of the week, you will need to remove the nail polish from your toenails and repaint them. The color that you choose is completely up to you. The first of the articles that makes up your additional reading makes some suggestions about nail color if you are new to painting your toenails.

On three of the days, you are required to do an accent nail on one toe of each of your feet. In this case, your accent nail is simply choosing one nail on each foot and doing that toenail in a different color to the others.

In order to mix things up a little bit and get a feeling for which toe feels best to you with an accent nail, on each accent nail day choose a different nail on each of your feet to make your accent nail.

Consequences Of Not Completing This Step In Full

If on any of the days during your week you fail to remove your toenail polish and repaint your nails you will need to add two extra days of daily toenail painting.

If for some reason during the week you have any single day where you are not wearing any polish on your toenails, you will be required to restart your week from day one again. The second time that you fail to wear toenail polish for a day your punishment will be to go back and repeat step 22.

Additional Reading

Just like while you were completing step 22, you will be required to read at least one additional Pink Femme post each day. That way you can continually grow your feminine knowledge.

Here are the article categories again:

Minimum Requirements For Completion

You can mark this step as complete when you have 7 consecutive days where you have cleaned and repainted your toenails each and every day.

Once you have been able to complete your entire week of painting your toenails every day I am sure that you will come to the logical conclusion that having pretty painted toenails is now a part of your life to stay. After all, it is what an elegant lady would do.

Be sure to come back and comment on how completing this task felt. How did it feel on the first day versus the last day of your week? How long did it take before you felt confident painting your nails and going out with painted toenails? Did anybody notice your prettily painted toenails? What were their comments, and how did that make you feel?

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.

  2. I love having my toenails painted. I usually paint them when I do my fingernails because I love them to match.
