You Got A Label? So What!

It can be tempting to label ourselves or those around us with some sort of degrading term that is part of the fetish/kink that brings so many to girliness.

As you grow into a girly lifestyle you will often find that the world is not as accommodating as we are. There is already way too much degrading and humiliating content out there on the internet. We can do better. Girls, let’s rather be supportive of each other and build a better society one hug at a time.

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

The caption is meant for a little elicit chuckle, but there is a serious note that I’d like to express: However you would describe yourself; in whatever way, someone else would label you; don’t allow stereotypes and labels to diminish from the truth that you are a human being.  What you do on your time, what you do in your space, and how you do it with whoever else is your pleasure–perhaps your kink.  You’re still a person of value to humanity.

Can I also encourage you to expand that thought to outside of yourself?  Let’s treat each other respectfully.  We have enough challenges for being feminine boys without dealing with scorn and belittling from among our own like-minded girly boys.  We’re all better than that.  Let’s extend appreciation to each other and encourage one another.

I hope you all can have a girly weekend.  Be at peace with yourself and with others.

Candie is an enthusiast for all things fit and femme. All of her very creative captions carry the same positive, motivating ethos that I envisioned for Pink Femme when I started this site. Use this link to go to Candie’s blog on Tumblr and give her captions some much-needed love.

If you would like to see more of Candie’s longer-form content with captions here on Pink Femme – here is the link to the list of posts that have been published.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
