THANK YOU!!

Thank you to each and every one of you for being such amazing girls. You help make the world slightly better each day.

Sometimes it is easy to get tunnel vision when creating content and not see the bigger picture. There are times when we feel a bit down and wonder whether creating the content we do is even worth it. Both Candace and I have experienced it from time to time.

However, it is you, our readers, who are our biggest source of motivation to sit down and produce another piece of content. So many times I have sat down at my computer and not felt the mojo and I’ll see a message or comment from one of you beautiful ladies and it lifts my creativity levels.

THANK YOU!

And another thank you to each of you who have clicked through to Amazon from one of the product links this past year. It has kept the dream alive of having Pink Femme stay free for more girls to be able to use – especially those who are just starting out on their girly journey. Thank you so much for that. Hugs

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

Again and again, I can’t say it enough to all of you.  Thank you for being such a special part of my girly journey.  I’m also thankful that I get to be a part of your journey, however small that might be.  I hope above anything that my contribution to your journey has been a positive one.

When I began my original Tumblr blog a few years back I remember having about 25 followers for over a year.  I was simply creating a few captions here and there and providing a few insights into working out.  Then one day, it just took off.  All it took was the right personality to share a post and my opportunity to reach many more people and encourage good health in their girliness sky-rocketed.  But then there was the Tumblr takeover and for some reason, my mostly safe-for-work Tumblr was designated as adult material.  ugh.  I went for about 10 months before I posted anything again.  It just didn’t seem like it was worth it.

So, I started fresh.  But this time, it wasn’t going to be implicit captions, though I would share some of the old ones, and it wasn’t going to be mostly about fitness, though I still encourage that.  I wanted this time around to be about positive attention toward femininity.  I wanted to help boys know that it’s okay and actually worthwhile to be girly.  I wanted younger generations to feel less stressed about it than how I felt when i was younger.  I wanted to lift desperate and downtrodden spirits up.  I wanted to motivate, encourage, prop up, push forward, and bring some positivity into an arena that is vastly filled with humiliation, shame, fetishes, and sex.  I don’t mean to act judgmental.  I too enjoy the erotic fantasies (at least some of them).  But for my Tumblr, I wanted it to be a venue of aspiration.

And, because of you, that’s what it has become, what it will continue to be, and what I hope it will always be.  You have encouraged me.  So many of you have shared your life stories with me, sometimes your frustrations, and sometimes your dreams.  As you have, you have reminded me from time to time why I do this.  It’s for me.  It’s for you.  It’s for future generations of girly boys trying to figure out what is so right about being feminine as a male.

I have pondered many times about closing my account down.  It eats up time, it takes energy, sometimes it’s demanding, sometimes I get in a rut, a lot of things get sacrificed because of it, etc., etc. Yet, you keep me going.  You bring me delight.  You give me joy.  You give me a reason to keep going and want to pour myself more and more into helping other girly boys.  I’m thankful to you.

Well, that was much longer than I intended.  Keep encouraging one another.  We are all humans with multiple flaws, so don’t get all worked up over the least little wrong idea, word, or thought.  Keep sharing with each other and keep loving each other.  We’re in this together.  We’re a unique sisterhood of boys and we need support from one another.  You know it–much love to you girlies!

Candie is an enthusiast for all things fit and femme. All of her very creative captions carry the same positive, motivating ethos that I envisioned for Pink Femme when I started this site. Use this link to go to Candie’s blog on Tumblr and give her captions some much-needed love.

If you would like to see more of Candie’s longer-form content with captions here on Pink Femme – here is the link to the list of posts that have been published.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
