Welcome to the first day in the second half of your 40-step program. Although at first glance this twenty-first step may seem innocuous, there is a powerful psychological component that will test your resolve as the week progresses.
Before we get to that, how did you get along with last week’s task? Are you now able to stand/pose with better poise and elegance? What about all the additional reading for the week? Did you learn something new that you will be able to apply going forward?
As you can see from the title, this week is about the rule of pink. What is the rule of pink and how should you apply it in your life?
The essence of the rule of pink is to include something pink within your outfit each and every day. It can be anything from underwear to socks to laces in your sneakers to a complete head-to-toe outfit.
Why Pink Is So Important
Pink is a massively empowering color for your femininity. Wearing pink helps to connect you with your inner feminine core. To help you understand this more deeply, here are the articles that are the essential reading for Step 21:
Now that you have read those key articles and know why you should be wearing pink, let’s move onto the practical aspect of your task this week.
How You Are Expected To Apply The Rule Of Pink This Week
If we had put the rule of pink right near the start of the 40-steps, your task would have been to wear something pink every day for the week. That would have been super easy. You could have chosen pink panties, or pink socks, or painted your toenails pink. These are all things that you could keep hidden and still completed your task.
But you are more than halfway through your 40-step program so for you the rule of pink needs to be a lot more challenging than that. However, you will be able to start the week gently and ease your way into more pink.
We can call this your week of pink progression. You begin on day one by wearing just one item that is pink for the day. You don’t have to wear the same item for the whole day, you can change it out if you need to. However, you do need to be wearing something pink for the whole day.
On day two you will need to be wearing 2 items that are pink. And no, a pair of pink socks counts as one item, not two. You continue through the week, adding one additional pink item each day. You don’t have to be repeating the same items day after day. You just need to ensure that you have the correct total number of pink items for that day of the week.
For the first four days all the items you wear can be hidden, or semi-hidden. Examples of these can be panties/socks/hose/camisole/vest/painted toes.
For the final three days, you need to be wearing a minimum of one item that is externally visible. If you are feeling shy and reserved, your externally visible item can be something as subtle as a bracelet/ring/awareness ribbon.
If you are too nervous to increase the number of pink items you wear (for instance from 3 to 4) on a particular day, you can repeat a day for as long as you want before moving up to the next day. This is kind of like a groundhog day that repeats over and over until you can make a breakthrough.
If something happens during the week that forces you to only be able to wear two pink items for that day, it will put you back onto day two. You will then have to build up again on a day-by-day basis to get back to where you were before and only then progress to a new level.
Additional Reading
Just like while you were completing step 20, you will be required to read at least one additional Pink Femme post each day. That way you can continually grow your feminine knowledge.

My Suggested Pink Accessories For You
As you saw when you were doing the essential reading for step 21, I curated a long list of possible pink items for you.
However, of those, there are three accessories that I see as being more essential for step 21. These are the three and I would be expecting you to choose at least one of them to include by the time your week is over:
- The first of two bracelet-style pink accessories to choose from is this hand-woven Thai wristband (Available on Amazon).
- If you are shy about showing the cute woven bracelet, then an alternative is using your rule-of-pink bracelet to promote breast cancer awareness. It is a worthy cause and is appropriate all year round. Here it is: pink awareness silicone bracelet (available on Amazon)
- However, if you are ready to prove to the world and yourself that you are fully committed to being the best Pink Femme girl you can possibly be, then wear your pink commitment ring like this one (available on Amazon) on your ring finger as a symbol of your dedication.
Minimum Requirements For Completion
You will be able to mark step 21 as complete once you have been able to make it all the way through your week, adding one additional pink item each day.
Once you have been able to complete your induction week into the rule of pink I trust that you will continue to include some pink into your accessories or outfit every day going forward. After all, it is what an elegant lady would do.
Be sure to come back and comment on how completing this task felt. How did it feel on the first day of your rule-of-pink week? Did those feelings change or grow throughout the week as you added more layers of pink to your life? Did anybody notice your pink accessories or clothing? What were their comments, and how did that make you feel?
