Or Exercise… Period


I always get my workout in first thing in the morning. If I leave it until the afternoon I somehow always manage to find some sort of excuse to avoid my workout – such as working on the next block of content for Pink Femme.

There is something about sliding on leggings in the winter or short yoga pants/booty shorts with a cropped workout top with a built-in sports bra that amps me up for my workout. I lay out my workout outfit the night before so that I can get up and into my workout gear before the temptation to sleep in takes hold. After that, I’m up and dressed in workout gear so I might as well get my workout done while the world is still asleep.

You should try and work out girly first thing in the morning so that you can be stronger than any dull dreariness that the world puts in your way throughout the rest of the day. Hugs.

Nothing calms my anxiousness like sliding into something girly, especially of the workout clothing variety.  It’s my thing.  A good single potstill or single malt Irish Whiskey is too, but that can always come later.  I normally begin my days with getting girly and working out the nighttime kinks with some early morning exercise in our basement.  Normally, that suits me fine and prepares me for a mundane day of looking manly to everybody else.  Yet, on those rare occasions when the stars align and the day has been less than ideal, getting my “girl fit” back on soothes a lot of built up tension. 

You should try it.  Chunk the men’s wear and get your girly butt into cute leggings and tops.  Panties are an obvious, and it’s likely you already have some on anyway.  Cute sneakers are a must as well.  Do some yoga at home, lift weights, run on the treadmill.  If you’re confident enough, go for a walk.  That’s always fun, even if it has to be after sundown.  As much as anything, make sure that your entire body is getting some exercise while you’re girly–not just your hand grip. 

Everybody knows that exercise is beneficial, but I want you all to know that exercise while engrossed in femininity is even better.  It can turn the worst of days into the best of evenings.  It might even give you a little justification for imbibing in your favorite libation.
