When it comes to being girly and living a girly life, one of the biggest regrets that I hear is from those girls who have stopped and purged all of their girly things. After a few months, they come back to being girly wishing that they still had their girly things from before they purged.
From what I have been able to see, the biggest reason for purging all their girly things comes from pushing too far, too soon in their girly lifestyle. Transition is a process, a journey. None of us progress and develop at the same speed.
There is no need to stop being girly – or more importantly – there is no need to stop feeling girly on the inside. There is no need to push yourself too far, too soon. This is especially true if you are doing it just to keep up with other girls who are on their own journey. Slow progress is still progress. Be kind to yourself.
If you see a sister who is struggling and wanting to stop, don’t chastise her. Be loving and supportive. Quite often all she needs is to stop trying too hard and embrace her femme feelings. The world is harsh enough already without us making it even tougher for our sisters. Hugs.

Being a feminine guy is a unique way of life that I wouldn’t exchange for anything. For one thing, it has evolved beyond an experience and into an existence–a state of living, which is more comprehensive than the occasional, spur-of-the-moment, state of being. I feel special for being girly. I feel uniquely true to my overall being. It is a remarkably comfortable way of life for me. Sure, it might not be as “out there” as I wish for it to be, but coming to terms with the fact that this is who I am and that this is the way I can live, has helped me to be more at ease day by day. It has bolstered my confidence, increased my vitality (if you know what I mean), and it has been a huge part of reforming my health. So, NO, I don’t plan to stop; and just because I’m a boy and will always be one doesn’t mean that I plan to stop either.
For those of you who have no intention of transitioning in any way, do you suppose that you will ever stop being and desiring to be girly?
Let’s be in this for the long haul, friends,
