Make The Best Of A Day

There might be days or even weeks where you aren’t able to go full immersion girly. All of us face circumstances from time to time that seems to be keeping us away from our goals.

Whatever the situation, try and make the best of any day. Maybe all you are able to do is some unscented body lotion after your shower to keep your skin soft and hydrated. Another possibility will be to put a little hand lotion on each time you wash your hands.

Sometimes it is the little things that nobody else can see that help you to feel a little girly on the inside so that you can make the best of a day.

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

I know what it’s like to go many days without wearing anything feminine, without having any girly luxuries, or without feeling secure enough to act and be girly.  I also know what it’s like to not feel in the mood of girliness.  Those seasons happen.  Regardless of the opportunities afforded for us (or stripped away), every day is a bright day to make it girly.  Even women don’t always feel womanly, so don’t think that in your quest for more femininity that you will always “feel it”.

You can make the best of any day, however.  Even without some of the more notable things we think of when it comes to being girly boys, any day can have some girliness in it.  Take a break and relax, breathe deeply, and meditate on those things that normally help you to feel girly.  It may not be a full-on experience, but by “getting lost” in feminine thought, you condition your mind to make some part of any day girly.

Girliness is as much of what is in your heart as what you do or wear.  And if it’s in your heart, in your being, a part of your soul, any day is a day that can be made girly.  Make the best of it and you’ll eventually discover how girliness just flows in your life.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
