Being girly on the inside is the best feeling in the world. I am not saying that being girly will always be easy. There will be challenges and setbacks.
Whatever the challenges you are facing, just keep going. Take that next step. Nurture the girl inside you even if she can’t show herself to the outside world.
You already know that feeling girly on the inside lifts your mood and makes the world seem better. So don’t quit and put yourself back at the beginning. Keep going. Hugs

When this caption first entered into the blissful world of Tumblr, it was quickly noted by someone as being “cheeky fun” but not a good representation of the struggle of being a woman or truly transitioning. Well, there are no arguments from me. I think the person is right. I offer no correction to the comment, but I also offer no apology for the simple encouragement and heart of it. Much of what I design and write is as much about having fun as it is inspiring. I can’t tell if the person was offended. I honestly hope they weren’t because I understand the sentiment–or at least try to understand it.
What about us boys who never plan to become a woman, but who love and adore femininity? Keep going. Whether in baby steps or giant leaps, keep going. If you have to crawl (like me), then by all means, keep moving forward. What if it’s all fantasy or a wet dream? I’d say, “Keep going.” Imagination is the foundation of realization that has yet to be achieved.
I can look back over my life and recognize some subtle and not-so-subtle changes to life as I know it and as it has progressed in girliness. There have been relationship changes, voice and posture changes, interest changes, and even wardrobe changes. It has not always been easy, but becoming girlier has been worth every step in the process. So far, i have yet to attain an end goal that I’ll never achieve, but I keep pressing forward.
I want to encourage you to do the same. Keep going. Through the ups and downs, through the hiccups, around the potholes, and over the river and through the woods. Keep going. As our favorite little blue fish would sing, “Just keep swimming.” Enjoy the process and keep going.
