Candace raises an interesting thought in her blog post below. She got to dress girly. She was able to be in girly underwear for the whole week. Yet she felt a drop in her mood.
This all stems from the fact that she couldn’t immerse herself in a feminine mindset and feel her girly feelings due to the nature of the home projects she had to do.
What we can all learn from the experience that Candace had, is that what is more important is how girly you feel on the inside rather than what you show to the outside world. That is why I always encourage girls to do something every day to nurture the girly feelings deep within you. What is it that you can do to feel more girly on the inside that has nothing to do with dressing up? Let me know below. For me, it’s my skincare routine and spritzing on perfume. Hugs.

We might not be in the majority of “men”, but for the special few who have a better awareness of the joy in femininity, being girly is simply a better way of living.
Over the past few weeks, I have personally noticed a drop in my mood. I haven’t been as cheerful and personable as I typically am. Maybe it was the stress of the holidays. Maybe it was the onslaught of home projects. Whatever it was, I simply wasn’t the pleasant soul that I normally am. I didn’t have as much freedom to be girly. It’s not that I didn’t dress the part. I certainly had my girly dress sessions, especially while working out. And I hardly touched any of my male underwear. It was the attitude, the disposition, the posture, the walk, the gestures, etc. that, though typically girlier than the average boy, wasn’t as free-spirited and girly as I like.
I can’t help but compare what I’m like when I feel free to express my girly self with times when my feminine being is bottled up. When my girly self is restricted, life isn’t as grand. I feel special when I’m feminine. I feel free when I’m girly. I feel less stress, less anxiety, and less pressure when I can be effeminate as my girly boy self. Yes, I truly believe that life is better when I’m girly. Sure, it’s not for everyone; and perhaps, I try too hard to force it upon myself, but I can’t argue with my experience–at least for me. Being girly is simply better–a better life with better moments.
Much love to you all,
CandieHart
