It’s Not Much

Many girls start off deep so in the closet that it seems as if they will never emerge. All their girly time is confined to those rare moments when they are guaranteed of not getting interrupted or found out.

Having your girly time being so isolated, can feel as if you are unworthy or undervalued as a person. The massive amount of humiliation content on the internet plays on those exact emotions, reinforcing negative self-talk.

Both Candace and I want you to know that it is totally OK to feel girly and express it in any manner that you are able. Hugs.

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

Because of our overwhelming anonymity, I doubt that it can mean too much, but I’m wanting you all to know that you have my support.  I don’t want you to ever feel like you’re nothing, undervalued, useless, or unworthy.  For the very simple fact that you have feminine passions, you have my utmost respect.

Whether that’s secretive or public, casual or fetish, part-time or full-time, not transitioning or transitioning, I think you are special and I support you.  It may only be from the sidelines, but I’m cheering you on.  I’d even put on a cheerleading uniform for you if I knew it would give you joy (and if I had one).  I’m so tired of feeling held back and I know you must too.  So, I just wanted you to know that I want to be the type of person that holds you up.

It’s not much, but I love you for being you.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
