Being girly is who I am and my form of self-expression. It’s me. It’s who I am.
And I love that it is you, too.

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.
Yes, girliness for me is not an “all-the-time same thing.” Sometimes, it just feels right. Sometimes, it just happens without any thought. Sometimes, there is an erotic flare about it. Sometimes, I have to make the effort. Sometimes, it’s a choice, sometimes it’s a guise, sometimes it’s a fantasy, sometimes it’s a pain, and sometimes it’s a joy. Sometimes, it feel like part of me and other times it feels like more of me or all of me. And then sometimes, it’s any sort of mixture the descriptions above. It’s never the same reason, influence, or feeling.
That is why I can confidently say, that whereas my approach to girliness varies from day to day, all the time, girliness is ME.
It’s ME it’s ME it’s ME. And I love that it’s YOU too. I love you my girly friends more than you know! You are very special to ME.
