I Love You–Spread It

The best that I could ever wish for any of my girlfriends is that they live a life that is authentic to whom they truly are on the inside. While it may not always be possible to show that part of yourself to the outside world, you can still experience those inner feelings to the fullest.

By connecting with and feeling your inner girl she will be more real for you and you will begin to notice her gestures and mannerisms more as time passes. Hugs

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

I want you all to know how much I love you for being girly.  I love you for being you and for having a passion for femininity.  I love you for your encouragement to me and to others.  I love you for being an inspiration, for being accepting, for being loving.  AND…I hope you know that I love you no matter how out of the closet or how stuck inside you are.

If you’re out living your best life in the girliest fashion of your desires or if you’re aching to wear just a pair of panties in the security of your home, I love you.  Whether you’re proudly wearing skirts and heels in public or scared because someone might notice that you’re wearing women’s jeans…again, I say that I love you.

It might seem like a platitude to some.  Maybe because we’ve never met in person, someone might question the authenticity of my sentiments.  I promise you that I do not take the word “love” for granted.  I really mean it because I know that there is a whole world that doesn’t hear it enough.

I know that there’s a whole mass of boys who are or who want to be feminine do not get to hear it enough–at least in the context of their girliness.  And I also know that some of you need a little word that could heal a little of the anxiousness within you.  Being girly in a world that expects you to be manly is scary.  We are also in a world where many who take pride in being out of the closet might look down upon those who are still shaking in their boudoir.  Be sure of it.  I love you for being you.

I’m thankful that most of my interactions with people on tumblr have been positive–fantastically positive!  From time to time, I sense pressure from some.  It’s one thing to feel the pressure from people who mock girlies.  It’s another to feel pressure from those who know too well what girly boys are going through.  I feel like I’m in a position to say some things that need to be said and I want to tell you, whoever you are, wherever you are, or however girly you are, you have my love just as you are.

We need to love people where they are.  If we can’t, how authentic is our love for them when they arrive to the place we wish them to be?

I guess I could ramble on and on.  Today, I simply wanted to say, “I love you.”  And I truly hope that means something special to you.  If it does, please don’t keep it to yourself.  Spread it around.

Love,

CandieHart

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
