I Love My Girliness

I love all the girliness in my life and I love seeing girliness all around me. It is motivating to know that the small pink light that I shine out into the world is helping new girls to find their way.

I know that there are many that cannot express their full girliness out into the world, and that is ok. You do what you are able to. Nurture the girly feelings within your heart where nobody can see them. Look at the world around you through girly eyes.

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

I willingly admit that I love my girliness.  I love my current level of it, I love the potential of it, and I love sharing about it.  My only regret is that I haven’t embraced it as well as I should have through the years of my youth.  I partially crossdressed and enjoyed that, but that wasn’t the same.  In some sense, a boy can be girly without ever crossdressing.  A boy can also crossdress without ever really being girly.

Girliness is more than wearing feminine clothing.  It’s more than getting made up and dolled up.  It really is more of a life than an isolated dress-up session.  With that said, when a boy wears girly clothing and is also girly in his nature, then it all becomes something very special.  So, I enjoy crossdressing.  Is it really crossdressing if you’re not actually crossing over?  I guess that’s up for debate.

But I love being girly.  I love the freedom of walking feminine, talking less manly, and gesturing more like a woman would (or at least as we would stereotype it).  Add to that some girly clothing, and I’m over my neck in the most delightful way of expressing myself.

It’s all fun.  It’s all intriguing.  It’s sexy in some ways.  BUT, when it is your life, it’s all a love with yourself–a self-care if you will–as you love your girliness.

Much love to all of my girlies out there.  Never forget that you are very special and that you are special to me.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
