There is a link between maintaining good posture and lifting your mood. Having body awareness is key to having good posture. I find that the girlier I dress, the more aware I become of my body. It is as if the clothes against my skin keep me aware of how I am carrying my body.
The sensations against my skin feel different and even better when my posture is good. So, for me being girly equals better posture when sitting, standing, or walking and that lifts my mood. I don’t want to ruin the lines of a stunning outfit by slouching. How about you? Hugs

It’s all in the brain. Maybe it’s all in the heart! It’s true, though; I have better posture when I’m wearing my girly clothes. When I’m wearing panties or my girly jeans, I sit up taller. When I’m working out in my girly gym wear, I’m more in tune with the grace of my movement. When I’m wearing a bra, i don’t slouch. Basically, when I just feel extra girly inside, whether I have the clothes or not, I’m less lumbersome and more “streamlined.” I sit with my knees together, I walk with my elbows tucked further in, and my back is less rounded.
And you know what? When my posture is better it always translates into a happier mood. This obviously doesn’t happen without some self-awareness cued by the clothing or by the girly thinking. Yet, because I want myself to be girlier, the clothing helps inspire the better posture.
I would think that you find this to be true for yourself. If not, I hope that it will inspire you to think more attentively to how you gesture, walk, talk, etc. when you’re basking in the pleasure of your girliness.
