“I Have a Dream”

The post by Candace today has made me realize that I need to make a confession – I haven’t seen either of the 2 movies that she references at the start of her post. You are welcome to be shocked at that revelation. For me, it was a case of bad timing. We moved to Spain shortly before they came out and our Spanish was (and is) still not good enough to be able to follow a movie in a Spanish cinema.

That being said, I can easily understand their wide appeal as it inspired so many of you to begin dreaming girly from a young age.

I am sure that since then you have continued to dream girly dreams. When I was young I was inspired by Audrey Hepburn who had me dreaming girly dreams and that is probably why I still try and be elegant with whatever outfit I might try.

How about you? Which movies have had you dreaming and fantasizing about being girly and inspire you to be girly as often as you can? Hugs.

I think I might start singing and dancing to the tune!  I love Tangled–so much better than that cold weather film that came after it.  Don’t frown at me, please.  I like Frozen as well, but I think Tangled is better.

Anyway.

I have dreams of being a girl.  I don’t want to be a girl, but I certainly have dreams about it.  I fantasize about the possibility.  I daydream about it.  I write about it, post about it, think on it, wish on it, and go through all of the “what ifs?” about it.  I have certainly thought about it…a lot.  I’ve spent countless hours reading through fiction sites.  Does anybody remember the website “URNotAlone”?  Yep, I never had a profile, but it was an encouragement.  With all of this interest, you might think I really did want to be a girl.  I don’t, but that doesn’t keep me from dreaming, playing, and even truly being feminine.

What about you?  Do you have dreams of being a girl?  Is it what you really want or are you content to be a boy with some girliness (or a lot of girliness)?

I hope you all have a great weekend.  Enjoy being girly, however, that might look to you.

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
