I Don’t Desire to be Manly

So often I hear from people that they wish that they could wake up in the morning having been magically transformed into a girl overnight. I’m sure that is a wish that many of you have too. Unfortunately, I don’t have a magic wand that I can wave to make that come true for you.

However, what we both can do is wake up tomorrow committed to being and feeling as girly as we possibly can be. I’ll be shaving my legs during my morning bath and spritzing some floral perfume afterward. What about you? Hugs.

It’s late.  Actually, it just turned morning here.  And by the time you read this, you and I will have already started another day irrespective of where any of us are from.

I can assure you, my sweet friends, that I have no intentions of waking up in the morning and being manly.  Yes, I’m sure that I’ll wake up feeling pretty stiff, just like any other “male”.  But that’s a consequence of having a penis.  Darn things seem to have a mind of their own.  Regardless of the tent in my panties, I intend to live life girly tomorrow–just as in every other day.  I intend to think of myself as girly.  I intend to walk a little girly, act a little girly, and move a little girly.  Because, just like any other day, I will not wake up with any sense in the world of being manly.  Maybe that’s why I’ve spent the last 30 minutes painting my toenails!

Honestly, I don’t like manliness–at least not in the way that society paints the picture.  I don’t like that macho way of living.  I don’t like the boyish mannerisms.  I just don’t like it.  It grosses me out.  I prefer to be feminine and to assert my feminine ways.  I prefer to be sweet, gentle, tender, and if at all possible, sexy.  I prefer to giggle like a third-grade girl and flirt like I’m 15 going on 21.  I prefer trying to figure out which pants compliment my butt instead of figuring out if my socks match each other and not caring either way.  I prefer encasing my balls with cute patterned panties instead of grabbing the first pair of jockey shorts in the drawer.  And I prefer agonizing over whether or not my shoes match my bracelets instead of just putting on the same watch every day.  Being like a “man” is just lame.

Every morning, I have to shave off some manliness.  Every day is the beard.  Every other day, it’s chest, or legs, or armpits, or the unmentionables.  Honestly, I wish I could just make my body hair go away.  It’s uggghh.  Though I can enjoy shaving some manly growth away, I’d rather be spending my time shaping my fingernails, styling my hair, and working on smoothing out my appearance.

It’s not that I have anybody to be extra girly for other than me.  My wife likes my “soft” side, even if she teases that it makes her feel a little lesbian.  As much as I love her, it’s not for her.  I do it for me.  I’m such a better person when I’m girly.

Anyway, I’m rambling now, and really need to get some beauty rest.  I don’t intend to be manly, so yes, the caption is true.  When I wake up tomorrow, I know that I intend to be girly.  And the same is true for the next day and the day after that.  I hope you intend to be girly as well.  We’re girlier together!

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
