All too often I hear feminine men expressing that they are failures in life for not being rugged and tough. We are all unique and have aspects of our characters that make us different. Those differences mean that we are not all attracted to the same things.
The sad thing is that so many people have bought into the idea promoted by humiliation sites and videos that do their best to break you down at every opportunity.
The truth is that you are succeeding at being who you truly are. Don’t measure your worth as a person against what you imagine others might be expecting of you. Most of the people around you are so absorbed in their own world that they won’t even notice when you express any of your girly nature.
Being girly is not easy. All those wardrobe options make styling an outfit way more difficult when you are femme. The same goes for the difficult trial-and-error process of learning to do makeup in a way that flatters your facial features.
Most of the people around you project a façade to themselves and the world because they are too afraid to become authentic.
Just in case nobody else tells you this today. Being your authentic femme self is a success. Look yourself in the mirror right now and hear my words in your ears. “Girlfriend, you’re beautiful and I’m proud of you.” Hugs.
