Both Candace and I love fitness. We always encourage girls to keep fit and healthy. If being girly helps you make better health or fitness choices I see that as a net positive benefit of a girly lifestyle. For the most part, girls tend to keep their workouts indoors, feeling self-conscious about what others will think of them should they be seen. Going on a girly run is one way around that.
Put on a girly T or top over your sports bra, lace up your girly sneakers and head out for a pre-dawn run. If anyone does see you the light will be too low to recognize you. If you wear a head torch with your running cap it will keep your face in shadow and your identity will be even safer. Aim to finish your run about 15min to 20min before sunrise and you will be back inside before most people have started their day.
Keep reading to the end of Candace’s post and I’ll include a link to some cool girly running tops I like. Hugs

You know I love fitness. I especially love girly Gym Bunny fitness. I love sliding into my workout panties, yoga pants, sports bras, form-fitting racerback tanks, thin socks, and my girly tennis shoes. I love feeling feminine while exercising, and even more, being feminine. It’s as if I have all of this pent-up maleness from a night’s slumber, and working out releases manly toxins to let Candie breathe freely and openly. Even if it’s only for an hour or so, this inner, endearing, magnificent girl gets her moment before being confined inside of my male, though somewhat fem, identity.
A majority of my workouts are inside my personal gym filled with all sorts of torture contraptions and my training consists mostly of intense bodyweight exercises and kettlebell ballistics (e.g. snatches, cleans and presses, and swings. Maybe someday I’ll share a comprehensive training plan for would-be Gym Bunnies.
Occasionally, I force myself to get up earlier than usual to treat Candie to some outside air. Whereas I might want to hit the snooze, Candie is wide-eyed and raring to go. While it’s still mostly dark outside. there’s a fairly good chance that nobody will be out on the cart paths of the golf course behind our house. Many neighbors take advantage of the course to walk and run before the golfers start slicing up the fairways. So, the opportunity to be outside and girly without hastily jumping into a bunker to hide is good.
Even with the cloak of darkness, this is a small, overly conservative, town. I might be dressed girly, but I can’t risk being flamboyant. Besides, my wife insists with playful threats that I should be more androgynous than overly feminine. Even with a little less girliness than I would like, having the chance to breathe oxygen into my femmy sports-bra-encased chest, wearing in some cute femmy sneakers, and to fill the brisk breeze across my legging-wrapped thighs, is a delight before skipping back into my manly guise for the day–ugh.
Listen to me, girlies, it is important to have opportunities to be more feminine than what is imprisoned in our masculine disguises. It will never be enough to only wear panties and bras underneath our man-clothes. That’s still exciting and fun, especially if the bra happens to have some padding. But to be able to femme it up outdoors is so much more exhilarating, even if it might be somewhat androgynously. So, if you have the opportunity, try a girly run. It’s so much fun and it’s so freeing, especially if you can create a more feminine stride–hopefully, I’ll be able to put a little piece together soon about training a girly gait.
Much love to you!

Here are three girly tops that you can use for your early morning run depending on how warm or cool the temperature is. First up is the classic cap-sleeved PUMA Women’s Active Tee (available on Amazon). On warm mornings you can quickly slip on the Under Armour Women’s Streaker 2.0 Slit Back Tank (available on Amazon). If it is cooler in the morning then I’d go for the Under Armour Women’s Locker 1/2 Zip T-Shirt (available on Amazon). I like the shade of pink and the thumb holes that stop the sleeves from sliding up my arms. I know that I only said three, but if I were wearing the long sleeve Under Armour top, I’d pair it with the Under Armour Women’s Sport 2-in-1 Tank in Cerise (available on Amazon) or the Under Armour Women’s Tech Short Sleeve V-Neck – Solid also in Cerise (available on Amazon) just in case I start feeling too warm during my run.
