Girly Friendships for the Win

One of the ways in which I encourage people to enjoy their girly time involves dressing girly for workouts in the same was as Candace does. The downside to this is that if you get injured and have to recover, you will also be having downtime from being girly. This feels especially hard as your injury is now keeping you away from two things that trigger your feel-good endorphins.

Luckily we are all friends and can connect here as well as on the Pink Femme sisters’ platform. Let’s use these encounters with each other to support and uplift each other so that we can feel better between our opportunities to be girly. Hugs.

One thing before we continue: It is thanks to fabulous people like you that Pink Femme can stay free for everyone to use. This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

I’ve been dealing for a month now with some sciatica pain.  It has been complicated by other leg issues, that have all come upon me at once.  It truly is a pain in the ass.  Basically, it’s been a month without much happiness because the pain is simply debilitating and over-concerning.  Not only that, but not feeling very girly or being able to express myself girly has been a downer.

In spite of the pain and the lack of girly time, I have still found some relief in having access to my Tumblr page and receiving so many wonderful messages.  Yes, there have been a few awkward ones thrown in here and there, but it’s mostly been encouraging.  I cherish these unique friendships, being able to share with one another the way that we do and being reminded that we all have varying interests while having a common love for femininity.  It makes me happy.  It reminds me that happiness can be found, even during difficult times.

I hope you get the same sense of friendship through our girly posts, shares, comments, etc.  I know it’s not the same as being in person, but it can mean something.  It does to me and I hope it does to you too.  If anything, that you find a smile as you think about all of us girly boys cheering you to be girly too.

Have a gloriously feminine day, my friends.  Much love to you!

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
