Find Your Flavor – Even Your Mix

There is no one single way to be girly. Being girly is a spectrum and it is for you to discover where on the scale of fabulously femme is right for you.

Don’t be alarmed if the way you express your girliness changes as the years go by. We all change as we age so it is completely normal that your inner girl will change too. Hugs

This post was created by the talented Candie Hart and originally appeared on her Tumblr blog. It is reproduced here with her kind permission. Be sure to check out more about Candie at the end of the post and give her some Pink Femme love.

Being a girly boy is enjoyable.  It’s not every person that finds as much satisfaction as a guy who enhances his well-being with various forms of femininity. While it is true that men can be men and never taste a womanly self-image, it is also true that many men will find a complete banquet of tasty options to fill their life with fullness.  But what girlish delight will such a princess boy choose?

Find your own girliness–someway that calls to you, speaks to you, is you.  It’s that simple.  If a man wants to be somewhat girly in an androgynous way, let him wear feminine clothes without someone stereotyping him as a s*ssy.  If a man wants to be a s*ssy, don’t assume that he must want to be a simpering c**k-hungry f***ot.  If a man wants to crossdress, that doesn’t mean that he wants to transition.

Lumping all girly boys together onto one dish is like saying that a straight, white, manly man must be a gun-totin’, tobacco-spittin’, redneck.  People are so much more diverse than that.  So are girly boys; and their alternatives to life are like sweet desserts.

Of course, there is also the mash-up of girliness.  It’s quite immature to imagine that girliness on a boy can only have one flavor.  Variety is as much of a reality for a girly boy as a cruise ship buffet.  What is there actually that prevents a guy from being a girly athlete in the morning workout, androgynous at the work place, and a sissy in bed?  Nothing does.  His options for femininity are as diverse as his lingerie drawer.

You can find your girliness.  Perhaps, you already have.  It’s a wonderful experience.  Don’t think of yourself as a particular stereotype and keep yourself open for some fun options.  Find your flavor and mix it up.

I hope you all have a girly-girly day!

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
