FEM POWER!

I must admit that my sneaker collection is much less impressive than Candace’s. More than that, I don’t have any Fem Power Rykas – and I’m sure that many of you don’t either.

In spite of that, every time I pull on a pair of my girly sneakers for a run or a gym workout, I feel a surge of that same Fem Power that Candace talks about.

I challenge you to put on a pair of your girliest sneakers and do a girly workout today. That’s what I will be doing too. Hugs.

What a lovely surprise when my newest pair of shoes arrived in the mail!  If you know me well, you know that I LOVE my shoes.  I write about them all the time.  And it’s sneakers for me, mostly.  I have some heels, wedges, and sandals of various kinds, but my sneaker collection is HUGE.  It’s vast, diverse, and oh-so-lovely.  I’m a sneaker freaker, I guess.  And I’m okay with that.

Anyway, my newest sneakers came in the mail.  For a while now, I’ve been wanting to get a pair of Rykas.  They’re certainly not as popular as the usual brands like Nike, New Balance, or Asics, but they’re likely not as generic as many sneakers you might find on Amazon.  Plus, I was able to get a $125 pair of shoes for less than $30!  Can’t beat that!  Anyway, getting to the point, the reason I have been wanting Rykas is because they are exclusively women’s shoes.  They’re made for a woman’s foot with a narrower heel and they put their time in construction to making a good sneaker for women customers.

They don’t make men’s, at least not as far as I’m aware.  It makes no difference.  They’re lovely.  These are particularly slim-fitting and athletic-looking, which I love.  But the best part?  When I tore through the packaging and saw the box, my face lit up with a huge smile.  Plastered on the print of the box were the words “Fem Power”!  Yes!  How could I ever throw this box away?!  But then, when I got home to slide my girly boy foot into these precious delights, I thought I’d pass out from sheer excitement.  Printed on the insole at the heel were those very same words: “Fem Power”.  So, every time I wear these, the heel of my foot rests on those fabulous words of encouragement.  I’m stepping out with Fem Power!

It’s been a long time since I have shared any written content that was not a reblog.  I think that maybe the last time was back in 2022.  I’ve been a busy little girly.  But I had to tell you of my newest purchase.  And if I could be honest, though it shouldn’t be of any surprise, I desperately need more Ryka shoes right now.  It’s not in the budget, but I’m going to make it happen.  I need more Fem Power in my sole.  Maybe I could be Ryka’s new spokesperson?!  lol  Wouldn’t that be a job?  A male spokesperson for an exclusive women’s shoe company!  Fem Power… It’s so good that even men long for it.

At least this girly does.

Much love to you, my fem-empowered boys!
