Beauty Hack 1: Use An Illumination Moisturizer

There is one makeup trend that I see everyone joining in on, myself included, it’s dewy skin. The good news is that you can give yourself a radiant look without the use of foundation or highlighter.

One easy way to do this is with an illuminating moisturizer. I use the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal Brightening Day Moisturizer SPF 30 (available on Amazon). It will give you a brighter, younger-looking complexion after just one week of use. The formula contains glycolic acid, vitamin C, and Pro-Retinol to help correct an uneven skin tone, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and reveal more radiant skin.

Beauty Hack 2: Exfoliate

If you can’t or don’t like wearing makeup, you need to embrace your skincare routine to help get flawless-looking skin.

Use a face scrub to exfoliate your skin and remove the buildup of dead skin cells, allowing dull skin to appear bright and smooth. I use the L’Oréal Paris Pure-Sugar Smooth & Glow Grapeseed Scrub (available on Amazon). It will give your skin a deep, yet gentle exfoliation for visibly smooth, glowing skin. The scrub is formulated from a naturally derived blend of three pure sugars, finely ground acai, nutrient-rich monoi, and grapeseed oil.

My skin is left with a baby-soft, glowing finish. You look so good that you’ll be totally okay about heading out without wearing makeup.

Beauty Hack 3: Use An Eyelash Curler

You don’t need mascara to make your lashes look great. You can give yourself an instant eye-lift by curling your lashes with an eyelash curler. It will help open and emphasize your eyes in just a few seconds even without touching a tube of mascara.

Not to mention, this is one of the easiest ways to master a makeup look for people who can’t or hate wearing makeup. I believe in using eyelash curlers so much that I wrote a whole article about eyelash curlers and how to use them to get the best results.

Beauty Hack 4: Grab Some Petroleum Jelly

Believe me, petroleum jelly is the ultimate in multi-tasking products – and we all want to improve our multitasking skills.

If you have some on hand, you can use it in place of various beauty products. Instead of using lip gloss or balm, smooth a bit of petroleum jelly onto your lips. To rock the glossy eye makeup trend, swipe some onto your lids. You can even dab a little onto your cheekbones in place of highlighter.

Beauty Hack 5: Apply A Face Mask

If you’re looking for another way to achieve glowing skin via your skincare routine, I’ve got you covered here too – pardon the pun.

Use a face mask that’s specifically formulated to do just that, but do so as many as three times a week. I use the L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Detox & Brighten Face Mask (available on Amazon). It is formulated with three pure clays and charcoal to detoxify and illuminate your skin in just 10 minutes.

Deep impurities such as dirt, oil, and pollution are removed, leaving my skin feeling clean, velvety, and refreshed with a healthy glow. I’m sure that you could also get used to this spa treatment kind of feeling.

Beauty Hack 6: Use Facial Oil As A Highlight

I’ve already covered so many ways to mimic the look of highlighter, and I’ve got another to share with you – facial oil. Think of the oil as “makeup” for people who don’t wear makeup.

Dab a tiny bit of facial oil on the parts of your face you would normally highlight, such as your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and the tip of your nose. The oil formula will give your skin a natural-looking luminosity.

Beauty Hack 7: Apply A Multi-Purpose Base

I remember this hack from when I was a teenager and our school dress code was strictly no makeup – so hear me out on this one. Sometimes no matter how diligent you are with your skin care routine, an unwanted breakout occurs. If you can’t or don’t like wearing makeup, layering on a full-coverage foundation probably is simply not an option.

Instead of a full-coverage foundation, get some light coverage by using a hybrid product like BB cream or tinted moisturizer. Even if you hate or can’t wear makeup, I have a feeling you won’t mind products like the L’Oréal Paris Magic BB Anti-Fatigue (For All Skin Types) (available on Amazon) and will be able to get away with using the L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Skin Illuminator Tinted All-In-1 Moisturizer SPF 20 (available on Amazon) as I did at school.

Beauty Hack 8: Use Under-Eye Cream

If you have under-eye bags but don’t want to reach for a concealer, you can add an under-eye cream to your skincare routine to reduce those unwanted bags, dark circles, and puffiness.

I use the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Triple Power Eye Treatment (available on Amazon). It is a permanent part of my skincare routine as it repairs wrinkles, lifts the eye area, and reduces bags.

Beauty Hack 9: Minimize Pores With Primer

I know that this article is all about not using makeup products – but this could be an exception because when you use a little it doesn’t look like makeup. I fully understand that you don’t want to use a complicated face makeup routine to hide your pores, but how about a light layer of primer?

Primer is one makeup product I think can work for people who don’t wear makeup. It basically feels like a moisturizer. You can apply makeup primer and reap its benefits even without applying makeup on top. I smooth the L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base (available on Amazon) onto my skin and the silky, lightweight primer minimizes the look of pores and fine lines – very useful at my age.

Beauty Hack 10: Use A Serum

Here is another beauty hack that will boost your skin’s natural glow – using a face serum.

The right serum can give you that healthy glow you crave. I use the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift 10% Pure Vitamin C Serum (available on Amazon) to boost my skin’s radiance and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You’ll be able to get the same results in about two weeks.

Beauty Hack 11: Reach For A Brow Mascara

I know that using eyebrow pencils, pomades, and gels to sculpt your brows may be out of the question, but there’s one brow product I’m guessing you could be able to use: eyebrow mascara.

When it comes to makeup for people who can’t wear or hate makeup, you can’t beat the effectiveness of a few swipes of the L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Brow & Set Brow Mascara in Clear (available on Amazon) that I use. You won’t feel it, and nobody can see the clear formula. However, you can use it to quickly and invisibly brush your brows into place for a groomed look.

Beauty Hack 12: Create A Bronzed Look With Self-Tanner

Just a few swipes of bronzer can make your complexion look healthier and give your features more definition, but I understand if this isn’t an option for you. However, you might want the option of creating that look.

One alternative is to use a self-tanner to get sun-kissed skin. My standby is the L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Serum (available on Amazon). It has a streak-free, quick-drying, and long-lasting formula.

When it comes to my choices for makeup and beauty products, I only use  L’Oréal Paris (Available on Amazon). I have really sensitive skin and never once have I had any negative reaction to any L’Oréal product.
