It also applies to all of you who need to keep your girly life a secret from the outside world. Right now, many of you have to reserve being girly for those times when you are completely alone – with no chance of being interrupted. I completely understand this need to be alone during your girly time. However, there is no need to feel alone during your girly time. Out there in the world, there are thousands of others who can only express their girly side in secret. In fact, right now, there are secret girls out there who wish that they had the chance to be girly while you are having your girly time alone. And some time in the future they will be alone in their girly time while you might not have the opportunity. So how about thinking of your alone time as a girl as carrying a pink torch for all of your girly sisters who are waiting for their chance to be girly? That way, you can know that somewhere out there one of your girly sisters will be carrying the pink torch for you in between the times when you get to be girly. Doing this will help you feel less alone about the girly side of your life. Hugs. Much of how you express yourself with femininity is in private; maybe even in secret. I admire you for recognizing your girliness, though you may keep it to yourself. Even if there is a sexual “kink” in the reason for it, I’m glad that you feel the need to have girliness as an intimate part of your life. Some of you will eventually walk out of your closet with heels and dresses on. Some of you will crawl out and burn the closet, never to look back. some of you will stay in the darkest back corner. It’s all okay. That closet is a special place, and whatever you decide to do with it or how you use it will forever be a part of who you are and who you have become. It is in this space that I want to share a brief bit of encouragement. In your hidden secret princess tower, you are alone. I mean that physically. You’re by yourself. Nobody else knows–or at least you think no one else knows. I believe it’s important to be able to experience girliness more openly and to have someone to share some parts of it with. But it’s also okay for you to have your personal closet space. What I’m getting at is that it’s okay for you to be alone. But also what I want to get at is this: please don’t FEEL alone. There’s a world filled with guys hanging out alone in their girly closets. The spirit of girliness is alive and well. You are a part of that web of femininity. AND there is an endless supply of some of the sweetest “girls” who are more than willing to chat with you, share with you, and have fun along with you–even anonymously.
