Being girly adds to who you have always been because the girl was always there within you no matter how much you tried to suppress her.
There is a myth that in order to be girly you need to sacrifice a part of who you were before. I don’t see that at all.
When you deny your inner girl her voice you cut off that part of you from having an expressive outlet.
Finding a way to connect with and express the girly part of who you are, allows an extra part of who you really are to come to the surface. That adds to who you are as a person. It doesn’t take anything away or make you in some way less of a person.
Live your truth and be a whole person.

“Less is more.” Less boy, more girl. I like that. I think that’s a good way to look at one’s journey in being a girly boy. At least I like to think of it that way for me. I’m not becoming a woman and I know I’ll always be a boy. So, that means that there will always be a kind of wrestling match going on in my life.
I know myself enough to know that the boy will never win out, but he’ll always be fighting for some attention. I know that, because no matter what clothing I have on, I will always look like a boy. No matter how I act, talk, or even smell, I don’t have a feminine figure. Regardless, I don’t have to allow my physique to disrupt my passion. I’ll choose, if it doesn’t come naturally, to be less boy and more girl.
I hope you all have a fabulous day. For those of you precious girlies who are taking bigger steps, I hope for you that you will one day say, “No boy and all girl.” But for the majority of my followers, let me encourage you as before: “Less is more.” Less boy, More girl.
