An Eyebrow Makeup Routine For Beginners

Not all of us can be blessed with the kind of eyebrows that we feel are Instagram-worthy. You want to feminize your brows but still want them to look as natural as possible. Luckily it is possible to create a gorgeous set of feminine brows with the right eyebrow makeup.

There is no need to feel intimidated at the prospect of feminizing your eyebrows. Applying eyebrow makeup doesn’t have to be as difficult as you may have imagined. Let’s go through my eyebrow makeup tutorials for beginners now and learn how easy it can be to create a set of feminine brows. You’ll be able to finish your look with some eyeliner and mascara and your eyes will be instantly girlier.

An Eyebrow Makeup Routine For Patchy Brows

Some of us have eyebrows that just don’t seem to grow quite right. Use this eyebrow makeup tutorial to fill in the sparse areas of your brows.

What You Will Need:

Get The Look By Following These Simple Steps:

1: Fill In Your Patches

Use the doe-foot applicator to lightly apply the gel and fill in any patchy spots on your brows.

2: Create Your Shape

Outline your brows and define your arch by using the included angled brush. Only make feather-like strokes in order to avoid overdone brows.

3: Blend The Product

Finish off by combing through your brows with the spoolie to blend the product and create natural-looking, seamless brows. To learn more about using a spoolie, here is the article that I wrote all about what a spoolie is and how to use it.

An Eyebrow Makeup Routine For Thin Brows

Are you a girl who has thin brows? Or perhaps your brows were plucked more than you ideally wanted. The solution is at hand. Pick up the following eyebrow makeup products and follow my tutorial to create the appearance of thicker brows.

What You Will Need:

Get the look by following these simple steps:

1: Fill In Your Brows

Using the spoolie end of your eyebrow pencil, brush all of your brows hair up and in the direction that they naturally grow. This will make it much easier to see what you’re really working with.

2: Add Volume With Brow Mascara

You add volume by simply swiping on some brow mascara. Start from the inside, at the beginning of your brows. Make sure to brush up and over in the direction your brows naturally grow as you work your way out towards the tails of your arches.

3: Add Definition To The Lower Edge Of Your Brows

Use the thicker side of your eyebrow pencil to trace along the bottom edge of just the first half of your brow. When working with the tails of your brows, use the narrower edge of your pencil. Then, as always, blend thoroughly.

An Eyebrow Makeup Routine For Thick Brows

If you are a lucky girl who is blessed with brows that are already thick, it won’t take much to perfect them.

What you’ll need:

Get the look by following this simple step:

1: Brush Up Your Brows

To be able to create an amazing eyebrow look, all you need to do is to tame your brows with a few strokes of your spoolie. Brush your brows upward for an on-trend look that will be sure to suit your thick brows.

Thick brows and unruly brows are not quite the same things. Once you have brushed up your brows you may notice a few wayward hairs. Reach for your eyebrow scissors and trim the wayward hairs back in line. Take a look at the detailed guide I wrote about how to trim your eyebrows to get perfect brows every time.

An Eyebrow Makeup Routine For Shapeless Brows

If you look in the mirror and worry that your brows don’t have a girly shape, I can help. Here is the perfect eyebrow makeup tutorial for you if you feel like your brows could use a more distinct shape.

What you’ll need:

Get the feminine look you want by following these simple steps:

1: Brush Your Brows

Use the spoolie end of the brush that comes with your brow pomade and brush your brows up and over in accordance with the way they naturally grow. This will give you a better idea of what shape you’re working with so that you can see what area of your brow needs accentuation.

2: Map Your Brows

Start by using your eyebrow pencil to help map out your brows.

First, align the pencil with the dimple of your nose straight up towards your brow. Wherever it lands, that’s where your brow should begin, so draw a small brow hair to mark your place.

Next, align the pencil with the dimple of your nose and have it go diagonally up and across your iris. Wherever it lands on your brow is where your arch should naturally be the highest, so draw another dash there.

Lastly, align the pencil with the dimple of your nose and extend it over toward the tail end of your brow. Wherever it lands is where your ends should be, so draw a dash one last time.

Repeat the process with your other eye so that your markings are the same on both sides. You do want to have even, matching brows.

3: Trace Your Arches

Now that your brows are mapped out with three small lines each, use the angled edge of the brush that comes with your brow pomade to connect the small dashes.

Make sure you draw straight lines between each little dash in order to create a sculpted arch.

Don’t worry about the line looking too thick because you’ll be blending your work when we finish.

4: Fill In Your Brows With Brow Pomade

Fill in your brows by dipping the angled edge of your brush into your brow pomade to add color to the area between your outline.

5: Add Natural-Looking Definition Using Your Eyebrow Pencil

To complete your shapely arches, use your eyebrow pencil to draw hair-like strokes throughout your brows.

Once you’ve finished adding definition with your eyebrow pencil, use the spoolie end of your eyebrow pencil to blend everything out for a seamless, natural look.

When it comes to my choices for makeup and beauty products, I only use  L’Oréal Paris (Available on Amazon). I have really sensitive skin and never once have I had any negative reaction to any L’Oréal product.
