Always Start Girly

Whenever I am asked, I always tell people that Monday is my favorite day of the week. It almost always elicits a response stating that Monday is the worst day of the week because it symbolizes returning to work after a weekend.

I see Monday as a day of opportunity. Instead of waiting for the New Year to make a change in your life – all you need is a Monday and the start of a new week. So, take a few moments and think of something small that will make you feel a bit girlier on the inside – either something that you haven’t done for some time – or something completely new.

Take that idea and implement it in your life next Monday. Start your new week a little girlier than last week. If you keep making a new change each Monday, not only will you make improvements all through the year, but you will begin to look forward to a Monday as your day of opportunity too.

If you are stuck for ideas, take a look at the 40-step program. Each step is supposed to be started on a Monday. Hugs.

As much as I have the opportunity to start each week a little girly, I try.  It sets the tone for me.  It may be something as little as shaving, or wearing panties, or (gasp) wearing a bra.  I obviously start each day with stretching and a workout in my girly clothing.  For me, that’s just a given.  Further than that, I feel the need to set the tone for my week by adding a feminine touch to how I prepare myself and dress for Monday.

Likely, you know me well enough by now to know that I’m not one to completely dress en femme.  I wish I could, but that’s just not going to happen.  I take what I can get and am happy to be a girly boy and not a girl-to-be.  It’s my life and I like it this way, that is, with increased femininity as a part of it.

Regardless, I want–no, I need–a little push each week.  And so, that begins with Monday as I trudge into work.  I not only feel a little more feminine, but I find that I think a little more girly as a result.  The way I see it, I may not have the open opportunity to be as true to myself as I wish, but little victories go a long way.

Have a fantastic girly week, my sweet friends.  Thinking of you always!

I stay in shape by trail running. When I am not writing posts to help you be as feminine as you can be, I work as a therapist.
